Optimizing nutrition during pregnancy is one of the most overlooked areas in conventional prenatal care and arguably one of the most important.
If the only nutrition advice you’ve received is to “take a prenatal vitamin”, then I encourage you to dive deeper into ways of optimizing your nutrition during this important time. Now, don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some of the foods you love. It just means that you’re incorporating KEY nutrients on a regular basis in order to optimize health of both you and baby.
